06/14 - Eastern Blanca Reconnaissance

Originally, this leader planned to combine reconnaissance with first ascents in the area of the Cordillera Blanca to the west of Pompey (Hualcán group), but although several other people expressed interest in participating in this trip, all withdrew as departure date approached. Hudson therefore decided to go alone, limiting his trip to a non-climbing photographic survey. In this he seems to have been successful, having produced a very comprehensive coverage of the mountain ranges in the area.
