British Limi Expedition 2025
This team of two set out with the intention of climbing Peak 6010 in northwest Nepal via the mountain's west face. Upon arrival at base camp, it immediately became clear that there was much less snow and ice on the west face than in the pair's research photographs and too much rock fall to justify an attempt. An attempt on the north face was also ruled out after extensive reconnaissance failed to identify a viable route to the glacier beneath the face. Attention then turned to the south and east faces, with the east selected for a possible attempt. Unfortunately, at this point the forecast turned and heavy snowfall forced the pair to evacuate base camp.
