Cambridge-Indian Kishtwar 1965

A portion of the expedition drove overland to Kishtwar, meeting the rest of the expedition team there before beginning the trek to the Brammah glacier. Base camp was established and acclimatisation begun before the weather turned fowl and limited activity for the remainder of the trip. Attempts were made on Sickle Moon, an unnamed ~19,000ft. peak and Brammah. On the latter, they were turned back by a large gendarme, just shy of the summit slopes. The team also managed some geographic exploration of the Prul glacier.
