North London MC Kongde Ri Expedition 1983
The object of Paul Harris's party was to make alpine-style ascents of Kongde Lho (6,187m) and Kongde Shar (6,093m) from the S by unclimbed routes. They reached 5,200m on Kongde Lho but retreated because of dangerous conditions and acclimatisation problems. They did not attempt Kongde Shar.
