Papsura Expedition 2025
This team of two got as far as base camp (c. 4000m) from where they had hoped to attempt the first ascent of the north face of Papsura (6451m). Unfortunately, once at base camp, Rinn developed a chest infection which presented as pulmonary oedema and the pair retreated to a hospital in Manali to arrange treatment. With Rinn responding slowly to the treatment, the decision was made to abandon the expedition and return home.
