Queen Mary College East Greenland 1968

The expedition travelled via Iceland to the mine at Mestersvig in Greenland, from where they accessed the Bersaerkerbrae glacier and established base camp. Over the next several weeks, significant glaciological and geographic research was undertaken and ascents made of Beaumaris, Glamis, Bersaerkertinde, Bersaerkerspire, lljornespitz, Pimlico, Lambeth and Danskitinde. Two serious injuries occurred during the course of the expedition, one of which required the evacuation of Miller to Icleand for treatment.
