Having been forced to abandon their initial objective of establishing a new big wall line on El Monstrou due to severe November weather making the approach too dangerous, this team switched their objective to attempting a new route on Trinadad Central. Unfortunately, after a few days of effort, the line they had been following diappeared into a seam and, unable to progress further, they abandoned the attempt, using their remaining time to repeat a number of established climbs in the valley.
