Indo-Scottish Himalayan Expedition to Parbati
Starting from Manali (Kulu), this party attempted the previously unclimbed highest peak in Glacier I of the S Parbati region. At a point on the W face at the foot of the S ridge, they were frustrated by the exceptionally heavy snowstorms that swept the Himalaya in mid-October 1985.
