Oread MC South Georgia 1954/55
The expedition achieved the first ascent of a major peak on the island when, in 1955, Brooker and Webb succeeded in reaching the summit of Mount Gregor (1880m). The peak was subsequently renamed Mount Brooker afer its first ascensionist.
