The South of England East Kulu Expedition 1978
The expedition made ascents of several peaks to the north-east of Kulu, including Shudra Par, Tara Par, Deception peak, Angdu Ri, White Sail, Sentinel Peak, Morning Peak, Roberts Peak and Devachen. They also made an unsuccessful attempt on Shigri-la, with Groves and Thexton turning back just 200-300 feet below the summit.
