British Lemon Mountains 1999

From the point at which they were dropped off by Twin Otter, this young team had to ski a gruelling 25km uphill towing heavy sledges to set up a base on the Hedgehog Glacier. From here they hoped to make first ascents of 8 peaks, but in fact they far exceeded this, climbing a total of 18 routes, including 12 first ascents of peaks up to 2,350m. On 'The Actress' they put up what they consider the hardest ice route in Greenland to date: 'Nice Work if You Can Get It', TD+ (V/6) 700m.
