British/Ukranian Tien Shan 1994

This joint team hoped to achieve new routes from the South Inylchek glacier but experienced bad weather for most of the time that they were in the area. Continuous danger of rock and serac fall prevented attempts on any of their declared objectives, but a brief respite at the end of the trip enabled them to climb Khan Tengri (6,995m) by the normal route.
