K7 Southwest Ridge Expedition 2024
Having attempted the southwest ridge of K7 (6934m) on a number of occasions, Lampard and Brewer enlisted the help of Doyle and Burrows for a final stab at this objective. Unfortunately, a combination of challenging conditions and ill health in the case of both Lampard and Brewer prevented the team from making a substantive attempt. They subsequently planned for an alternative attempt on Sulu Peak (5950m), located in a subsidiary valley of the Charakusa, but were unable to make a start due to poor conditions. The team noted significant new route potential on The Dog’s Knob, Fathi Brakk and Faro East.
